2 questions: I have fowloled the tour de france for 7 years- haven't missed a stage on tv. I see 100's if not 1000's of RV's which follow an entire tour. Do you have any idea how I would find parties in Europe with whom I could share this experience for a fee? On a completely different subject, I was recently told that you never call a french waiter garcon . When I was in France 30+ yrs ago, I called all waiters garcon ( I could actually speak fairly fluent french then ), and heard no complaints. Would you please bring me up to date-I am planning on taking my 17 yr old daughter this winter or spring. By the way , is it totally ridiculous to consider a trip in Feb. vs summer, i.e. condiderable $ savings vs weather? My daughter is a Phantom of the Opera freak-wants to see the Paris Opera House, Moulin Rouge, Versailles, Montmartre, the catacombs, and Notre Dame- not for historical reasons, but because of their place in movies she loves. Typical teenager!! I have even considered a side trip to Mont-Saint-Michel, since her name is Michelle ( well she is a girl!). Any help is greatly appreciated.
