Keeping them seperate is not going to work as a long term sotoilun, and will cause you such stress. Try reintroducing them very slowly. Akitas can be territorial, so in your dogs eyes, there is a new dog in her home and it is her job to protect the home. Take the for a long walk to tire her out a bit. Then, outdoors and with both dogs leashed, introduce them to eachother slowly. It might take some time, and multiple tries to get them to accept eachother, but it's worth doing. If all else fails, contact a behaviorist.References :
